MAISON ŒILLET
MAISON ŒILLET is a small Paris label founded in 2017 by Camille Fauré, who trained in a theatre costume workshop and never got over the eyelet. Œillet is French for eyelet, and also for carnation, which suits her: clothes that are precise but a little romantic.
Almost every piece is laced somewhere. Shirts open into a V of brass eyelets and long cords, so you choose how much to show; the same idea runs through suede, cotton and knit. Everything is cut slim through the shoulder and easy through the body.
The studio works with leather and shirting workshops around Paris and Lyon and makes most pieces in short runs, often in a single colour per season.
